Professor Diana Ürge-Vorsatz publishes in Nature on climate change

Professor Diana Ürge-Vorsatz (CEU Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, Center for Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Policy), has recently been involved in a recent series of publications in Nature.

Roundtable on "Energy Storage Technology: Is the CEE Region Ready?"

Central European University, the Energy Research Group, and the Jean Monet Chair for Energy Innovation Strategies on March 6th has organized the roundtable discussion “Energy Storage Technology: Is the CEE Region Ready?”. According to the moderator of the discussion professor Michael LaBelle, “We look at Western Europe countries, US, Australia where energy storage ecosystems are well developed, but the focus of this discussion is how we bring in new energy storage technologies in the CEE region with robust electrical and gas systems”.

The initial check that determines whether the application is complete and all required documents have been provided by the deadline, whether the application meets the formal requirements and whether the applicant is eligible to apply for the program has been completed. The reject decision for those applicants who failed the formal review has been made available in the applicant portal. No available decision means having passed the formal review.

The Activist - Call for Editorial Team and Articles/Photographs

Dear CEU Community,

 

Human RightS Initiative is pleased to announce a call for the editorial team, as well as abstracts and photographs for the 15th issue of The Activist. This is HRSI’s annual student-led journal, and is aimed at providing CEU students with an opportunity to publish their works that are related to the topic of human rights, and to gain experience in publishing and editing processes. Students from all departments are welcome.
