 MPP welcomes New Students

On September 12, at a reception in the Nador building yard, the Master's Program in Public Policy welcomed 27 incoming students for the 2005/2006 Academic Year. The second cohort of students will attend a program that has grown both in scope and in size. A new stream (the media stream) has been introduced and the number of students has almost tripled, with students coming from 14 countries, including many countries in Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union, as well as Zambia, Palestine and the US.

At the reception, Head of Master's Program Diane Stone welcomed the students and introduced her successor, George Guess, who will be Head as of September 26. Other new part-time and visiting faculty for the Academic Year 2005/2006 includes Dr Alex Fischer, full time Assistant Professor, Ms Valentina Dimitrova Grazl, visiting professor from USA (Sept 2005- Feb 2006), and Professor Leslie Pal, visiting professor from Canada (Jan-June 2006)."
