Chief academic officer Katalin Farkas discusses CEU's unique inter-disciplinary profile

Katalin Farkas assumed the role of provost and academic pro-rector last year, the first woman to take on the role as Central European University's chief academic administrator. Second only to the rector in all academic matters, Farkas looks forward to a number of major academic developments at the university, including the establishment of a school of public policy this fall and innovative new research centers that bring scholars together from across disciplinary boundaries.
